Today we enjoyed spending the day with beautiful, dry weather and 80 degree temperatures in Custer State Park in the Black Hills of South Dakota.

The granite peaks and rolling plains were calling us. We saw many buffaloes, one mountain goat halfway up a peak and one of my favorite animals: a donkey!!!!!

Encompassing 71,000 acres in the Black Hills, Custer State Park is home to abundant wildlife, beautiful flowers and amazing rock formations. Numerous trails make this area a paradise for hikers. Needless to say, this was my day!!!!!
