We arrived at Furnace Creek Visitor Center in Death Valley late in the day. It is one of the hottest places on Earth besides the Sahara Desert and places in the Middle East. On our way we enjoyed the beautiful vistas, rock formations and colors. We checked into our campground on a 104F degree day. Counting our blessings for having power and turning on the air conditioning in our RV.

Hiking in Death Valley, hot and dry. Inspite of this we did see a few lizards running around on the trail.

MOVING ON TO THE LOWEST POINT IN THE UNITED STATES

BADWATER BASIN

AND THEN.....................................WE ARE INCHING CLOSER TO THIS OASIS IN THE DESERT
