We left West Jefferson in the morning and drove to Wytheville, Virginia, to a campground off the beaten track. There was no service for my phone and very weak internet connection. Went running to keep my body strong and my mind balanced.
t rained through the night and occasionally I woke up at night from the heavy raindrops pounding on Ludmilla’s roof.
