Our plan was to visit Glacier National Park! No such luck Sherlock.......... It was closed because of COVID. Sooooooo..........we decided to visit some of Montana's towns and maybe find a trace of Lewis and Clark.

We found some information about Lewis and Clark in Missoula, Montana. Their route passed Missoula about ten miles south at the Clark Fork River.

Missoula is known for its blue-ribbon trout fishing (made famous by A River Runs Through It) and spectacular natural beauty. The outdoor recreational opportunities are limitless.

We took the opportunity and hiked up the mountain behind the University of Montana and enjoyed a spectacular view of this beautiful city and surrounding mountains.

Helena's main source of business was horse shoeing. Today, it is the capital of Montana!

Today trolleys run through town
