HIKING INTO GRIZZLY TERRITORY

Today I hired a very experienced guide and together we hiked up a narrow trail into Grizzly territory. We both had our bear spray handy. No bear sighting, but instead we passed many breathtakingly beautiful mountain flowers. According to Greg they are now in full bloom.

My guide Greg pointed out this tree and told me that a bear was trying to find bugs and ants inside this tree trunk. He used his powerful claws to dig in. Hopefully he found some edibles.
