Onward towards Pennsylvania, one mile at a time. Before we settled Ludmilla at a farm we went to a market and purchased some delicious organic vegetables. We then settled on Wadel’s Dairy Farm in Shippensburg, PA to prepare a healthy dinner.
Why are we staying on a farm: because we are members of Harvest Hosts, an organization of farms, wineries, distilleries that let you stay on their properties at no charge. They would like you to purchase items they sell.
At Wadel’s Dairy I purchased home made cheese, eggs from free-roaming hens – and yes they are salmonella free and the yolks are ORANGE and not yellow.
