After waiting out a snowstorm in Albuquerque, NM, we entered Texas and decided to visit Guadalupe National Park in the south-western part of the state. To our surprise one of the first impressions was the beautiful, majestic Guadalupe Mountain Range. Hiking in the park, especially in Mc. Kittrick Canyon, offered us an array of different biomes, from a desert biome to a temperate forest biome. Here we were lucky enough to witness beautiful fall foliage in an array of vibrant colors.
