DO'NT GET SHOT IN DEADWOOD

We rolled back time this afternoon and spent a few hours in Deadwood, a town where Buffalo Bill, Calamity Jane and Wild Bill Hickock left their mark. Wild Bill Hickock was shot in the back while playing poker.

James Butler Hickok, better known as "Wild Bill" Hickok, was a folk hero of the American Old West known for his work across the frontier as a drover, wagon master, soldier, spy, scout, lawman, gunfighter, gambler, showman, and actor.

We also saw a re-enactment of a scene where one of the miners was shot in the head and lived two more month, before an abscess from the bullet in his forehead killed him.
